A native of Amarillo, Mary was a member of the Chicago Opera, a protegee of Mary Garden. My husband's old uncle remembers seeing her in the twilight of her talent on a bill which also featured Frida Lieder, Al Priddy (Can Animals Think?) and the Olga Stevens Marionettes. She died in Texas in 1983. Say some El Paso, others can't remember. <BR/>Cordial greetings from the glorious Thames Valley!
