Milestones in love affairs...ahh. The illustrations are charming, even if you're not a fan of the enforced romanticism on offer. Interesting to see how different a 50 year old was "supposed" to look in 1928 compared with today.

I think it was beautiful the way they looked at love and life back then. So different and more virtuous than how it happens today.
I think it's sweet too, but I imagine if you didn't fit into the expected roles society would have frowned on you.
