Catalogue goodness!

Bernice's new favourite blog - Old Catalogs. This blog is all about collecting vintage catalogues, featuring a great collection and supported by a Flickr collection of great scans.

I picked these gorgeous 1948 swimsuits from the Old Catalog collection to share, because at the moment here it's definitely swimming weather!

I want that white number with the patterns and the green and black one. I think they would fit nicely even if it is 1955 where I am. It is definitley NOT swimming weather in New England, though, but at least that gives me time to get more bathing suit 'ready'. Thanks for the link to that vintage catalogue site.

Such beautiful looks! I wish it was easier to find (afforadble) versions of suits like this nowadays. I would especially like the red one in the top left corner - so cheerfully sweet.

These a amzaing. I just love these retro swimmimg suits, very very much. They are so elegant and charmimg. Mind you, living in Spain as I do, I would probably be sweating all of the time on those, but still....they are so beautiful!!
